This St. Louis tradition is presented by the St. Louis Track Club and benefits the Special Olympics. There is a race for every ability level with the Half Marathon beginning at 7:30am, the 5K beginning at 7:45am and a Youth ½ Mile Fun Run at 8:15am.
The half marathon course features rolling hills in Clayton and along Forsyth then travels into Forest Park before runners make the return trip. Aid stations will be located no more than 3 miles apart. The 5K course features the streets of Clayton with 1 aid station.
Overall awards and prize money will be presented to the top male and female open and masters finishers in the Half Marathon. Age group awards will go to the top finishers in 5 year age groups from 14-19 through 85+. All Half Marathon finishers will receive a custom finishers medal. Overall and age group awards will also be presented for the 5K. All participants will receive a gender specific, long sleeve tech shirt. Youth Run participants will receive a finisher ribbon and a cotton t shirt.
Registration is $60 for the Half Marathon, $25 for the 5K, and $10 for the Youth Run. St. Louis Track Club members receive discounts on all registration prices if registering by October 30. Not a member? Just add a membership on to your race registration and select the discounted race registration price. There are no online processing fees for participants registering by October 30. Late registration is $65 for the half marathon, $30 for the 5K, and $10 for the Youth Run. Late registrants will pay a processing fee.
The race expo, featuring local vendors and organizations, will be held on Saturday, November 1 at the Center of Clayton from 10am-4pm. Packet pickup and late registration will be held at this time plus race morning from 5:45-6:45am.
